This is not a Legends file, but a Classic MLS League with players and teams that use to play in the MLS along with some current players due the short history of some Clubs.

Three of the MLS teams in the file no longer exist in the MLS – Miami Fusion, Tampa Bay Mutiny, and CD Chivas USA.

The teams have no duplicate players (unless I missed it in my spreadsheet) – EXCEPT for Pablo Mastroeni – he is on both Colorado Rapids and Miami Fusion. The Fusion only existed for 4 years in the MLS and during that time, only 58 players played at Miami – Mastroeni was Miami’s star player playing 100 games during their brief existance. He was also a star at the Rapids. For that reason, that is why I chose to have Mastroeni at two teams in the file.

Since MLS does not have much of a history (years in existance), some of the most recent teams added to the league via expansion, will have current today players on the roster. Those player will be the young versions of themselves from earlier in their career at the club. Lee Nguyen played for 6 years at New England then left to join LA Galaxy and has re-joined New England this season so the younger version of Nguyen is on the roster.

Some players have just been a mainstay at their club – Beckerman has played over 340 games for RSL, so Beckerman will be a younger version of himself on the team (Back in those dreadlock days).

Also included in the file is Classic Eastern Division All Stars and Classic Western Division All Stars.

Once you install Competition CEDs, Set the league to 18 teams. The two MLS All Stars Teams will drop to Other Asian Teams.

When installing, be sure to check the first box. Also remember to turn Live Updates off by clicking on R3 on controller if the squads do not appear correct in Kick Off.

For those that installed the MLS Season 2000 in PAS League, this will replace it with no issues. Just change teams from 14 to 18 in Competition Settings.
