The manual aspect ratio correction is basically for those people who have monitors that are neither 4:3 nor 16:9 (very often it is 16:10, but i’ve seen other propertions too), but who really don’t like the black bars on top and bottom (LB checked). So, now you can uncheck the LB box, have the game play full screen with no bars, and with correct proportions.

Example:
you screen has resolution 1440×900, and its aspect ratio is 16:10.
In this case, set the value to 1.6
