v0.1 had the Vundo virus. But this version 0.2 seems to be clean.

And mine is a original copy!!Without any mods!!applied..i even tried uninstalling it for 3 times!!still the same problem..even with the game update itself..tried manualy got that stupid message!!PLZ man..help me!!

but i uninstalled EVERYTHING, pes 2010, his patch, pes 2011 and installed once again the pes 2011.

All you noobs that can't install the patch …it's cz you have copied the cracked exe over the original one nad the patch can't find it.To install the patch re-install the game and run the patch before u copy the crack.Wait for the 1.01 crack
And the guy who can't play online cz of the registration code should know that cracked games can't be played in multiplayer(only Lan) unless bla bla bla…..jesus

Same Problem, version mismatch.
I installed the game…. then DIRECTLY tried to install the patch. i get the same error as half the people on the page. I've been cracking games since 1998… so someone screwed up.
MAYBE, just speculating, it is because the downloaded version of the game is from europe or asia, and our settings are north american.

Fpr the idiot that says over and over again that you have to install the patch over a fresh non cracked copy of the game:
There are 1000 post that says WE are applying the patch over clean non cracked game and STILL there is a problem with the Windows Installer program.
So if you doest know how to fix this dont post stupid answers over and over again.
i think the problem might be, (if you have same problem as me) the version of pes2011 that you download comes with pes2011.exe version 1.1.0.0 we probably need the original pes2011.exe version 1.0.0.0 for the install to work meaning we need the original disk to install the patch for the time being
There are two types of update patches on konami site
One for the DVD game version
one for the downloaded game version
I had the same error message related to the windows installer but when used the other type it worked.
However I still face the activation problem, is there anyway I can play a cracked version online multiplier?

Guys it is nothing to do with reinstalling the game, I have reinstalled the game and tried to install the patch and the stupid message appeared again. Who ever installed the patch successful say where did you get if from and how u installed it, especially who said there r 2 types of patches.

you must have the game installed from installer, I mean not ripped, install it from a DVD or download the installation.
