How to install

Update to Konami 1.02

First you can update PES 2010 to version 1.02 (optional for the patch, needed to play online)
You can download the official Konami patchs at those links :
Official Patch 1.01
Official Patch 1.02
Install both patches.
Then open the game, GO TO DOWNLOAD AND UPDATE THE ROSTERS (needed).

Now you can install the SMPATCH :

1. Copy PES2010_EDIT.bin and PES2010_OPTION.bin from Option File folder in ‘My Documents/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 2010/save’
2. Copy the kitserver folder in the game folder and the SMPatch_selector.bat. Then run Manager.exe to install kitserver.

SMPATCH Selector

How to Install

Copy the selector (SMPatch_selector.bat) in the game folder.
You can create a link to desktop with right mouse click on the file choosing send to desktop.

Selector Tutorial

Open SMPatch_selector.bat then :

– To change division two from Serie B to Championship and viceversa type 1 o 2 and press enter. Then choose your favourite team (the team you would like to choose in Master League) typing the team letter and pressing enter.

– To play online type 3 and press enter.

– To return to offline mode reopen the selector type 4 and press enter (Important, otherwise you’ll have problems in offline)

– To select the scoreboard type 5 and press enter
Now choose your favourite Scoreboard :

1. Scoreboard Sky with PS3 controller graphic 4:3 (default)
2. Scoreboard Sky with PS3 controller graphic 16:9
3. Scoreboard Sky with X360 controller graphic 4:3
4. Scoreboard Sky with X360 controller graphic 16:9
5. Scoreboard Sky OFF

The sky scoreboard cause the game to crash during celebrations for a qualification or a tourney win. Before the final you should remove the scoreboard choosing Scoreboard Sky OFF. After the match you can restore your favourite scoreboard

FAQS

Q: I can’t install kitserver because i miss a dll file. How can i do?
A: Download and install: Dll Kitserver

Q: I have windows vista or windows 7 and the selector doesn’t work, why?
A: Try to run the selector as administrator.

Q: How can i create new players?
A: Go to Edit Player/Others/Free Agent. You’ll find 300 free slot to register new players

Q: I can’t find coca cola championship. Where it is?
A: You need to use the selector. Open it, type 2 and press enter. Choose a championship team (the team you would like to choose in Master League) typing the team letter and pressing enter. Now you have championship instead of Serie B.
You can find the teams on the bottom of others league.

Q: Whenever i start a master league with championship i see reggina and crotone in the league. How can i change those team?
A: Before start master, you can edit the league. Switch the 2 italian teams with the 2 remaining Championship teams (Reading e Shieffield Wednesday)

Q: Whenever i start a master league playing with a serie B or championship team, that team is duplicated in the league, why?
A: You need to use the selector. Open it, type 1 or 2 choosing your league and press enter. Now choose the team you would like to play the Master League with, typing the team letter and pressing enter. Now you can play without duplicates.

Q: Why the game crashs during celebrations for a qualification or a tourney win?
A: The sky scoreboard has a bug that cause the game to crash during celebrations for a qualification or a tourney win. Before the final you should remove the scoreboard choosing Scoreboard SKy OFF in the selector. After the match you can restore your favourite scoreboard

Q: The adboards are all white, why?
A: If you have any problem with the Adboards you can bring back the old adboards removing those files from the kitserver:

    You have to open the game, go to download update.

    Starting I want to thank you for your new update of SM Patch. You have done great job till now!

    In this version though there are a few things I cannot figure out. The first, and the most important I guess, is that the "SMPatch_Selector.bat" is missing from the .rar file.
    Also I want to ask you about the extra GDB by NightWish. I'm not sure if I have to replace the one from kitserver folder with this.
    Plus, since you have not answered me at v3.8 maybe you can replay now about why the game crashes after the season end at Master League.
    Finally I would like to ask you again to add the Greek SuperLeague my friend. That would be GREAT!

  17. hi… i installed your patch over a Brazilian Patch ( PS: i'm from Brazil )… well the patch works just fine but some league names are not right… a good example is the French League, in my game it's called Brazilian League… how can i trade the league names???

  20. the championship has wrong english teams! derby is missing for example! the nightwish GDB has the correct teams for championship and not fit with the SMPatch GDB! Sorry for my poor english! 😛

    I installed the patch, everything works fine. I am playing the Master League with Milan. Now, I have the first match in Ch. League, and when I go to play it, the game crash. Why???
    When I play normal Ch. League exibition, it works, but in Master League I can't play it. What could be the problem?

  52. I have problem. I have pirated version of game. I uploaded the game, but when I start it shows me message: "[edit data] do you wish to overwrite data"
    What is the problem? I traid couple of times and it's always same message.

  54. The patch is not working any more after i downloaded konami's new boots and balls update, the problem is in the save file although konami said that version 1.02 solved this problem, obviously not.
    Please update it soon soulmirror, it's the best pes patch i ever played with.

  55. I downloaded 3.91 to fix with the crashing from scoreboards, before that i took off the scoreboard through the sm_selector.bat because i was in a cup. So i downloaded the new patch and installed and started up the selector and chosen live 16:9 scoreboards but in game im still seeing the defaults?

  57. Hello, I have problem when i open game "do you wish to overwrite data" then click yes or no, clubs in england are not with real names, and players and clubs are not with real names. I put some different option file and then i have clubs in england and germany with realnames but not players in germany. I"ll be appreciated if someone send me working option file with real names in germany etc. on [email protected]

    the 3.9 version crashed the game on the second fixture of the group stage of the world cup 2010 in become a legend mode, I am signed with fulham playing with the Australian team. I tried the scoreboard fix with no success, I tried the updated sky boared, the older one and having the original PES board yet it still crashes as soon as the game is over and the camera shows the referee blowing the whistle and pointing to the circle. If there is a fix for this problem it would be much appreciated.

  65. I'm having problems with the patch. I follow the installation instructions, but some teams were not added, do not know if you already know but there is an update from konami 1.0.3 and download within the game adds 3 new balls will be that the patch is coming into conflict with the official download konami because of the patch contains 14 ball 17 against the download, I hope this information will help you to create or fix the patch compatible with these changes. thank you.

I'm sending this post to say that I am using version 1.02 and to update the rosters and the patch is not working, my previous comment was to warn them that the last update of the rosters adds several kicks and 3 balls totaling 17, not 14 as appears after installing the patch. is that the patch is coming into conflict with the update of Konami? Another question I am thinking of putting the version 1.03 and have seen comments that this kitserver not work with it, I wonder (if possible) will be available when a kitserver compatible with this version and if you launch a possible bug, and what the possible problem that I am facing. thank you and thank you to respond.

  71. This patch used to work for me in December everything worked normal. Then i installed on the same computer again and the names of the clubs dont work anymore…

    I dont know whats the problem.
    Someone could help us maybe,its not against the law to help us here…

  73. hey, the patch doesnt work anymore cause the download in the game has been changed on 30.12.2009, thats why the patch doesnt work normally. Before the update was about teams (rosters) but now is for boots and the stuff. We have to wait until they make a patch for the new Update rosters…

    Dont loose energy and time with this until something new comes out

    I tried almost everything six time formated the computer and always the same result North LONODN instead of arsenal and the like:))))

  88. Hello guys.I have a big problem with SM Patch.First I copy the kitserver folder in my pes 2010 folder and run manager and attached files. Everything was succesfull but when i run the game all leagues were original but teams inside were unoriginal Chelsea – Fc London but the kits were original and in the bundesleague there were teams from Erediviise League. Can someone tell me how to install it step by step pls I'd appreciate it.
