  13. i copied my BAL file on a memory stick ( fat32 )
    and try to open it with this editor but couldnt find any file !
    any help or instruction like a step by step guide and thank u

  27. download it, then unzip..double click the BAL editor, there should be (F) on the menu bar, click it and then click (O)..locate your save file (it should be in the my document under KONAMI folder)
    edit your player, for more information for the editing purpose, read Kenzy's post above..
    make sure for the last 3 attributes (the only 3 that have 4) you maxed it out by 8…not 99
    save it at the the (f), by clicking the (S)..done

    make sure you make a copy of your save file before you start editing..
    if your save file corrupted, one of the reason is you maxed the 8 to 99 (i really dont know what to call this)
    if your save file cannot be found, you need to exit the BAL editor first before load the file..
    i have some crashes after using the editor, it helped if you use the autosave function..since then, no crashes..
    fyi, if you're making a super type of player, makes sure the difficulty is set as hardess as possible, otherwise, your teammate will always let you down, as they are nooob with easy difficulty..

  37. I used it on my game and when I get to a transfer window(winter) the game crashes and I get the "The system has recovered from a serious error". can anyone help?

  48. How much difficult is it, for the developer, to EDIT this tool with ENGLISH LANGUAGE?!
    I'm trying to change my team to another (from ManCity to Liverpool) and I can't do it, damn it!
    Also, my system doesn't supporting Chinese and I have… boxes, instead of letters!

  56. Can I use my player on become legend on regulary games like when i play against my friends can i register like a player in a team that i like than to use in that team against com or a player ?? Can someone answer this question ? who know this reply plz as soon as possible 🙂

    for ps3 its .bin but the program does not "find" this file

  73. Cannot access the EPT file unless i go into safe mode which is annoying but then i can't even give my user account full control of it out of safe mode. Also when im in safe mode the EPT file isn't in chinese it's in another type of font, all squares. Has anyone got any solutions to this at all or are we gonna hear more bullshit?

  75. My BAL also crashed many times during the transfer season,then what I did I just adjusted the STATS of my player just once at the very beginning of the season and never opened the bal file again to edit and it works fine,I am now in my 3rd season.

  80. It's a little off-topic but, is there a patch where you can edit strips, cuz i want to create my own team, and since i installed a patch for strips I can't do anything except classic teams, but that's not the point. Thanks 😀

  91. bal 2010 ps2 is good and everything and way better than 2009. but what i wish bal 2011 would be that to make it more realistic with player salary-soccer news or rumors about your player or other players-have div 1 and div 2- have a house and car and a realistic life- coaching when u retire- real life currencies like dollars or euros instead of pes and other important things which i cant remember.

  109. hi everyone i can’t succeed with xbox 360. i extract save with modio from the usb key, i make changes, i save, i re inject the save on the key still with modio, but when i try to load my save it’s unfoundable on PES2010, and on my xbox hard disk, i can see it’s “dammaged data”. My changes seems to me logic, but maybe is there forbidden values to change or something ?

    maybe source of problem : when i load my unedited save on BAL, some values are different from my game (ex : freekick 57 on game and 130 on BAL, it’s strange)

  110. Problem fixed, i only modified some values from the original and nothing else, PES see the data.. But now the game doesn’t want to load it, “chargement échoué” in french, loading failed with an exclamation point in a red triangle..
    To make sure, i extracted the original save from the key, loaded it on BAL editor, didn’t change anything, saved and re injected it on the key… result : loading fail too on the game… So i guess the problem comes from BAL editor saving !! Is it normal that the editor i downloaded is only composed of a .exe of 342ko? (PES2010_BAL-EDITOR.exe) Thank you
