Lille Olympique Sporting Club Lille Métropole (French pronunciation: [lil ɔlɛ̃pik]; commonly referred to as Lille OSC, LOSC Lille, or simply Lille) is a French association football club based in Lille. The club was founded in 1944 as a result of a merger and currently play in Ligue 1, the first division of French football. Lille plays its home matches at the Stade Lille-Metropole in nearby Villeneuve-d’Ascq. In 2012, the club will move into a new facililty, tentatively named Grand Stade Lille Métropole. The team is managed by former Lille player Rudi Garcia and captained by French international Rio Mavuba.
Lille was founded as a result of a merger between Olympique Lillois and SC Fives. Both clubs were founding members of the French Division 1 and Lillois was the league’s inaugural champions. Under the Lille emblem, the club has won three league titles in 1946, 1954, and 2011 and six Coupe de France titles, which is tied for fourth-best among clubs. Lille and Red Star FC are the only French clubs in the competition’s history to win the Coupe de France in three consecutive seasons. The club is the current holder of the Coupe de France, winning the 2011 final, 1-0 against Paris Saint-Germain F.C..It was Lille’s first Coupe de France win since 1955. Lille’s most successful period was the decade from 1946–1956 when the team was led by managers George Berry and André Cheuva. In 2011, Lille became French champions again.
Lille have a long-standing rivalry with its neighbours RC Lens. The two clubs regularly contest the Derby du Nord. Lille is presided over by Michel Seydoux, a French businessman and movie producer. Seydoux initially purchased shares of the club in January 2002 and, subsequently, gained majority control two years later.

The Germany national football team (German: Die deutsche Fußballnationalmannschaft) is the football team that has represented Germany in international competition since 1908. It is governed by the German Football Association (Deutscher Fußball-Bund), which was founded in 1900.
From 1950 to 1990, it was more or less the team of West Germany[4] as the DFB is based in Frankfurt, located in the former West Germany. Under Allied occupation and division, two other separate national teams were also recognized by FIFA: the Saarland team (1950–1956) and the East German team (1952–1990). The official name and code “Germany FR (FRG)” was shortened to “Germany (GER)” in 1990.
Germany is historically one of the three most successful national teams at international competitions, having won a total of three World Cups and three European Championships. They have also been runners-up three times in the European Championships, four times in the World Cup, and further won four 3rd places. East Germany won Olympic Gold in 1976. Germany is the only nation to have won both the men’s and women’s World Cups. Germany rivalries include England, Netherlands, and Argentina.
The current coaching staff of the national team include head coach Joachim Löw, assistant coach Hans-Dieter Flick, goalkeeper coach Andreas Köpke, athletic coach Shad Forsythe, athletic coach Oliver Bartlett, scout Urs Siegenthaler, technical director Matthias Sammer, and team manager Oliver Bierhoff.[5]

Newcastle United Football Club(also known as The Magpies or The Toon, and often abbreviated to NUFC) is a professional association football club based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear. The club was founded in 1892 by the merger of Newcastle East End and Newcastle West End, and has played at its current home ground, St James’ Park, since the merger. The ground was developed into an all-seater stadium in the 1990s and now has a capacity 52,339. The club has been a member of the Premier League for all but two years of the competition’s history, and never dropped below the English football’s second tier, since joining the Football League in 1893. In 2007, long term chairman and owner Freddy Shepherd sold his share in the club to Mike Ashley.

The club’s traditional kit colours are black and white striped shirts, black shorts and black socks. Their traditional crest takes elements of the city coat of arms which features two seahorses.
