V4.3 Teaser:

EN/IT/ES/PT version in .max format only for now. This is basically a bug-free fix of V4.2 with a few extra players / squad number fixes for those who want to start a BAL or ML without it crashing!

The full V4.3 has had a major European transfers update and will be released within a week when I have done some more work on squad numbers!

V4.2 Details:

– EPL has all promoted teams / All kits updated where needed / 99.5% of transfers completed and squad numbers corrected. Any remaining errors should be extremely minor and due to the information not being available at the time (some deadline-day signings still have numbers tbc).
– Champions League teams in the game have had squad numbers checked but are missing some players. Transfers vary between teams, some (eg Bayern Munich, VfL Wolfsburg (now replacing Werder Bremen), Real Madrid and Barcelona) are pretty much 100%. Some are at 80-90%, such as the French teams. Some others (eg Standard Liege, Porto and Besiktas) are missing many players. There are no other new teams.
– New 09/10 Kits for Bayern Munich, VfL Wolfsburg, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. Classic England now has Euro-96 based kits.
– For all other squads varying amounts of transfers have been completed; auto-sorted line-ups and all “Unregistered” players in squads have been removed.
– Added light blue boots.
Please note that if you started a ML or BAL with this version it crashes at the end of Season 1. This is fixed in V4.3.

V4.1 Details:

– Most completed EPL transfers up to 14/08/09.
– Some more European transfers completed.
– Some more EPL kits added.

– Added promoted teams (Birmingham City, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers) to the EPL.
– Many EPL transfers completed.

Please feel free to leave comments about specific things that need fixing as other people may want to update the file themselves… but I am going to enjoy playing the game now until PES2010 comes along. Thanks to everyone who has helped with constructive criticism, support, banter, transfers, converting the file, giving me advice, allowing me to incorporate some of their work, etc. It has been fun, but with baby number 3 on the way I am calling it a day… but will be helping out other OF makers with kits for the next version of the PS2 game if they want me to.

Those files replace I_SOUND and E_SOUND files for smaller files. If you replace them, you will lose english and italian commentators. It is recommended, if you don’t use those languages to play, that you replace these files because in that way the Ps2 Lenss will suffer less reading your Solo Campeones Patch.

VERY IMPORTANT:

There is a small bug in the introduction and presentation videos. Is really easy to fix, you just have to rename the video inside the folder “PSS/EC_B” to “ECPB_90B.PSS”. It was bad renamed, and it did not show in the game, but once you’ve correctly renamed it, it will work

Instructions:

This patch is divided in 2, the patched files and the Option file. First I’ll explain how to apply the patched files, and later the Option File.

Patched files.

It is neccesary that you put your game files in your PC. There are many ways to do it, one of them by putting your pes2009 dvd on the dvd drive and copying the files to a new folder in the desktop. The game must be the ENG/SPA/ITA/POR version, if not it will not work. It also means that you can apply this patch over other patched pes2009 that you have, but this patch will replace the previous patch you already had. I recommend to patch it over the original files, so you will avoid further headhaches, but in theory there should not be any problem. After you have your game files into your PC, you must download the files, and uncompress them (the ones that are divided in parts must be together in the same folder in order to be able to uncompress them). Once with all the patched files downloaded and uncompressed, the process is as simple as replacing the original files you have in your pc with the new patched ones. And after that, you’re ready to burn a dvd, in the way you usually make it (there are many ways that can be found around the forum and the net, so I will not explain any of them, as they can easily be found).

Option File is the file that must be in your memory card. It comes in all usual formats, such as .max, .cbs, .xps, bin-cue, etc… You have to choose one of the formats and put it in you Memory Card. You must erase your previous pes2009 OF if you want this to work! There are also many posts and tutorials where it explains how to put the Option File in your Memory Card. For example I use uLaunchElf and a pendrive to insert the Option Files in my Memory Card.

-Great stats update so you can enjoy the here and now, as well as the master league experience.
-Revised PL names, so they are shorter. (e.g. Cesc Fabregas is now Fabregas etc.)
-Revised many commentary call names.
-Revised team names to make them shorter. Don’t see the point in lengthy team names, so now (e.g.) Glasgow Celtic is now Celtic etc.
-Completely revised the boots so they go with my old OF.
-Shop fully unlocked, including on PSP version.
-Fully updated 19 PL teams complete with new players, full physique/face/accessories updates as well as stats revamp for realism. Still a work in progress though.
-More high quality emblems. Replaced Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Tottenham, Newcastle, Aston Villa and more.
-Revised stadium, league and cup names.
-Re-assigned loads of stadiums for teams for realism. This is for all leagues.
-Some new transfers done like Wayne Bridge signing for Manchester City, Ben Sahar joining De Graafschap on loan and Zoran Tosic signing for Manchester United.

V3.0 – 22/11/08

My focus as before has been on the Premier League, here are all the main changes:

• Team names still in CAPS (I quite like it), player names all lowercase.
• League / Cup / Stadium names corrected.
• Some player apps adjusted (but no stats altered).
• Changed all premier league captains armbands to black/white/black stripes as in real life (except Man United & Liverpool).
• Added and changed / arranged sponsor logo’s where appropriate.
• Done back name / number colours to appear more realistic in-game.
• Redone some emblems – Most are now 128 colour and better quality.
• Given all national teams their logo’s and updated kits.
• Edited premier league club flags to team colours / assigned suitable designs.
• Checked all premier league and national team kits, redone many – too many to list here.
• All premiership player names have been checked / corrected and properly spaced on the back of their kits (post any errors, I will try and fix any errors you find!).
• Classic players have real names and back names correctly spaced, and nice retro kits (inc old french / dutch logo’s).
• Bayern Munich / Werder Bremen over PES and WE United, kits corrected.
• About 80,000-ish PES Points and all shop items unlocked.

V3.1 Update – 28/11/08

• Fixed Blackburn Rovers home kit number / name colour error.
• New Stoke City home kit, keepers kits and redone kit sponsor / font.
• Changed Chelsea’s Boswinga position to SB (registered) WB, SMF.

• Reassigned some stadiums to premiership teams for added realism.
• 99999 PES points, all shop items unlocked as before.

V3.5 Update – 15/12/08

• All “Umbro” premiership keeper kits have been updated, now look far more realistic in-game.
• Added SBOBET logo and text for West Ham (without the big box). Small change to home shirt collar too – now correct.
• Newcastle keeper kits redone / home shirt now has blue stripe on collar.
• Boylesports logo redone and home / away kits tweaked for Sunderland.
• Pompey keeper shorts adjusted.
• LG logo redone for Fulham.
• New Osasuna kit logo / adjustment and back sponsor.
• Almeria’s “obrascampo” logo now in colour / kit adjusted.
• Wilmslow Albion and Bamber Bridge are now the BAL starting teams (reason: where I grew up… and where I now live!) Includes kits / logo’s but not the players (except my brother captaining Albion), but it won’t affect your current BAL or ML in any way.

V3.6 Update – 23/12/08

• New keeper kits for Boro (both) and Spurs (away / 3rd to avoid clash).
• Adjusted SBOBET logo and text for West Ham for better appearance.
• Tweaks to Arsenal / Everton home kits. Hull away kit now correct.
• WBA and Fulham emblems tweaked, some flags tweaked.
• Almeria’s kit sponsor corrected (credit Jono).
• Improved premiership captain’s armbands.
• Senderos now spelt correctly (spotted that one in JoeH’s thread – cheers!)
• Suitable boots assigned to premiership team players, except Hull, Stoke and WBA (not on Barcio’s thread lists – to do for V3.7).

V3.7 Update – 31/12/08 **Last Update until the close of the Transfer Window**

• Some minor kit tweaks, eg Boro Away.
• Allocated boots for Hull, Stoke and WBA.
